Apply for a Home

Most TNDC housing applications are managed by DAHLIA, the San Francisco Housing Portal. To apply for housing, receive alerts, or view lottery results, please visit DAHLIA.

From time to time, TNDC accepts applications directly on a first-come, first-served basis for a limited number of buildings. To check availability, consult the housing map below for application details.

Nevertheless, we encourage home seekers to register with DAHLIA for the widest selection of housing opportunities.

Find More Available Homes

Our goal is for you to find a stable home that works for you and your family. Whether or not we have a home available for you, we encourage you to look at other opportunities and find the best fit for you. We also encourage you to apply to as many homes as possible. TNDC always receives far more applications than available homes.

Find Temporary Shelter

Our goal is for you to find a stable home, but we know it's a challenging and long process. In the meantime, you can find temporary shelter and homeless services through the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing. Stay strong and keep hope. TNDC and many others are building more affordable homes so everyone can have a home someday.
