180 Jones
Building 70 affordable homes in the Tenderloin by 2023*
We envision a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more. 180 Jones is a key step in helping us build this future by providing 70 affordable homes for people with low incomes (25-60% AMI) in San Francisco, including people who were formerly unhoused.
Located in the heart of the Tenderloin community, 180 Jones an 100% affordable housing building centering tenant needs. With onsite social workers, 24/7 front desk coverage, and Property Management, tenants have a built-in support network to help them adjust to their new home, feel welcome, and remain stably housed.
In addition to onsite support, 180 Jones offers residents a community room with warming kitchen, a second-story landscaped courtyard for open space ,and 1:1 bicycle parking. Notably, 180 Jones received a LEED Platinum Certification—the highest LEED certification for sustainable construction—and includes a public art installation that honors the neighborhood’s history.
Construction started in June 2022 and completed in January 2024. The first residents moved in Spring 2024.
