CFO Roxanne Huey and COO Katie Lamont Appointed Interim Co-CEOs of TNDC
In the wake of the untimely passing of CEO maurilio león, the TNDC Board of Directors has appointed COO Katie Lamont and CFO Roxanne Huey to serve as Interim Co-CEOs.
Katie became TNDC’s COO in 2022 after serving as Director and then Senior Director of Housing Development for ten years. She joined TNDC with extensive experience in the housing field: four years at Abode Communities (Los Angeles) and nine years at Eden Housing. Roxanne joined TNDC as CFO in 2022. Before this, she was the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a national community development financial institution.
Both Katie and Roxanne share maurilio’s commitment to housing justice, equity, and inclusion. Together, they will implement solutions to grow housing stability, strengthen communities, and amplify the voices of San Franciscans living on limited incomes.
Speaking for the TNDC Board of Directors, President Susan Johnson said, “We want to thank the staff of TNDC for their resiliency and hard work, especially during this difficult time for all us at TNDC. The board felt it was imperative to fill the vacancy made by maurilio’s passing to provide stability and direction for the organization and to ensure that maurilio’s guiding vision for TNDC remains front and center as we move forward. We are confident that Katie Lamont and Roxanne Huey will provide the kind of compassionate and strategic leadership that TNDC needs at this crucial moment.
