This October, TNDC was honored by the Curry Senior Center with the Dr. Francis J. Curry Award.

As a continued partner, TNDC is thrilled to support The Curry Center's new Tech + Wellness Center and have it share space with TNDC housing at 555 Larkin, one of the main entrances to the Tenderloin. TNDC also shares the community room and rooftop garden space with the Curry Senior Center to support their programming needs.

"As leaders of TNDC, we’ve seen firsthand how critical affordable housing matched with wraparound healthcare is to the well-being of seniors—a community that makes up about 40% of TNDC residents," Roxanne Huey, Co-CEO, said. "Our missions are perfectly aligned—we both believe in the right of every senior to live and age with dignity and security in the homes and communities they’ve known for years.  Our collaboration spans decades"

Since 1972, The Curry Senior Center has dedicated programs to helping low income and homeless seniors in San Francisco.

"We regularly refer our seniors to Curry’s services and have partnered with Curry in the past to provide nursing service to seniors living in our SRO’s," added Katie Lamont, Co-CEO, "We’re excited about potential future partnerships developing and providing recuperative care."
